London's like this today

Thunder, dark clouds and rain like it means business! Like monsoons in India....

Anita Klein- Looking through the Glass

I spent a lovely evening gazing at the witty, happy paintings by Anita Klein- one of my favourite painters. The exhibition concluded a couple of weeks ago at Bankside Gallery. Click here for more of Anita's dazzling work. Oh how much I love those intense colours and paintings that speak of love and everyday life! I went with my friend Bonita Ahuja, who is a gifted weaver. Click here to see her exquisite textiles.

Novembre - loved that intense red!

Anita Klein's 'Walking Home'

I'm the proud owner of the signed catalogue!
There's a quote in the catalogue "One who speaks two languages lives two lives". Couldn't agree more!

I walked home a happy happy girl- the catalogue Through the Looking Glass and Italian Angels sit on my desk now. Cant wait to buy a painting. One day one day. :)

Pulse 2011

Showing at Pulse was fun, exhausting yet exciting. For those who dont know the show, it is a trade- show for gifts and accessories at Earls Court, London. I exhibited within the Launchpad area, which features upcoming designer-makers.

I launched a new collection of scarves inspired by text and interior accessories inspired by London maps. Thank you all who came. It was amazing to meet you all. Here are some images of my stand for those who couldn't make it. My next outing will now be at Origin- the uber cool contemporary craft show which is part of the London Design Festival.

See you guys at Old Spitalfields Market, London, 22-29 September 2011, Stand D-40.

My Stand- the three coats of grey emulsion that it took to do the walls was so worth it. Don't you think?

My Silk Jewellery- if you like having fun with colours, it's for you.
